Ways We Can All Help Our Communities

At James Wood Law, we’re passionate about protecting the rights of the wrongfully injured, but that goes beyond the courtroom and medical malpractice cases. Our attorneys are always looking for ways to get involved in and help with the betterment of our communities in Albuquerque and across New Mexico. New Mexico Safety Over Profit

Insurance industry and medical corporation profits are soaring, yet the quality of medical care keeps dropping, year after year. “New Mexico Safety Over Profit” is a network of people and families throughout New Mexico who have all been harmed by profit-driven systems, with a focus on incidents of substandard medical care and medical malpractice.

Vision Statement: “We envision a New Mexico that centers the health and safety of our families by implementing policies that value individuals over corporations. We see a future where politics are kept out of the health care and justice systems.”

Currently, New Mexico Safety Over Profit is rallying behind its “2025 Legislative Session Call to Action” to demand corporate transparency and to disclose medical corporation profits.
